Thanks for checking out our body piercing blog. The staff at our studio in Long Beach is very enthusiastic about health codes and we love our California health inspectors.

Professional piercer John Johnson was offered an opportunity to speak to an audience of environmental health professionals at the educational event hosted by California Environmental Health Association (CEHA). This year’s conference was conveniently held in Long Beach.

John’s presentation for California health inspectors was on six workplace safety methods used by companies to protect their workers from risk.

John has delivered this presentation to multiple audiences of both piercers and inspectors in different U.S. cities as well as Mexico and Brazil.

Regulators around the United States, including California health inspectors, receive no formal education when getting their college degrees, so they rely on continued education like this to perform risk based inspections.

At the end John was gifted a certificate for his participation. This CEHA event was really great and well attended. Everyone at New Flower Body Piercing appreciates regulators and supports safe body art.
