Pantone Selects “Very Peri” as the 2022 Color of the Year
The body piercing industry eagerly awaits this big Pantone announcement every December. Fashion designers and others in the visual arts in 2022 around the world will be using this shade of Periwinkle, called Very Peri, as the centerpiece of their designs and product lines. Pantone says this year’s color is one whose courageous presence encourages personal inventiveness and creativity.
The Pantone website says this, “Displaying a carefree confidence and a daring curiosity that animates our creative spirit, inquisitive and intriguing Very Peri helps us to embrace this altered landscape of possibilities, opening us up to a new vision as we rewrite our lives. Rekindling gratitude for some of the qualities that blue represents complemented by a new perspective that resonates today, Very Peri places the future ahead in a new light.”
