With funding provided by the Association of Professional Piercers (APP,) New Flower piercer John Johnson flew from Long Beach to Baltimore to attend the 2026 conference hosted by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA.)
The conference featured several lectures each day. Many included concepts and topics relevant to body piercing.
Like all good educational conferences, there was an expo which featured all the companies providing products and services relevant to sterilization.
Beyond Clean had a large presence. They’re a family of podcasts that are very popular with, and valuable to, professionals in healthcare sterile processing.

Throughout the exposition hall mini classes took place with vendors explaining and demonstrating their products and equipment.
